How much it will cost to transfer visa from a private company to a private company also here in UAE?

Is it to be paid by the employee,or the previous/current employer, or the new employer? We need to transfer visa because the previous/current employer decided to close the company. But the previous/current employer requires the staffs to pay them 5k Dhs before they will transfer the visa to the new employer. Is this right?

Well, 1) To transfer visa from a pvt. firm to another pvt. firm, there are normal charges + Dhs.5000 transfer fee. Suppose, if your new comany lies in category "A", the normal charges to get visa are Dhs.6350 (including Dhs.3000 bank guarantee + issuance of visa inside the country). Additionally, you have to pay Dhs.5,000 for transfer visa i.e. 6350+5000=11350. Category "B" Company, 11350+1000=12350. Category "C" Company 12350+1000=13350. It depends upon your mutual understanding that which party is going to bear all expenses or partially borne by both parties. You can lodge a complaint against your current employer for asking Dhs.5K for the grant of release. This is quite illegal and authories can take legal action against him.
