How can I get an Australian tourist visa?

How can I get a tourist visa for my wife in UAE? I am not going to be a resident when I arrive any ideas?

  • I am moving for work to UAE (dubai) and when I arrive I will be on a temporary visa. I would like to get my wife with me after three weeks but I am afraid I am not going to get the residency visa by then. Any ideas as to how I can get a tourist visa for my wife without asking any resident there. Thanks, R

    Depending upon your wifes nationality she can get a visit visa on landing (European, American, etc.). If not you can approach a local travel agent who can get you a visit visa for Dhs.2000. It is valid for two months and can be renewed for a month paying Dhs.500. Or, you can get a visit visa from "Gulf Air". For that you need to get a ticket from them and make a refundable deposit of Dhs.1000 and visa charges of Dhs.200. Or you can approach your employer (sponsor) and request for a visit visa for your wife. Insha Allah, Don't worry she will get a visa. Cheers.

First it depends on where you are coming from, tourist visa can be given at the airport again depending on which country you are from this can be for 30 days. Again depending on what country you are from, if you need to renew your wife's visa you can drive over the boarder to Oman and come back into the UAE and recive a new 30 day visa.

Yes it is depends on the nationality, can get visit visa upon arrival. If you are not belongs to that category people who get visa upon arrival, you can stamp your visa immediately once you are in dubai. it wont take more than 5 days if your sponsor is ready to do. you can get your residency visa very quick, upon arrival you have to go and get your medical fitness certificate from any of the official centers, ( which also will get within 24 hours, if you pay the emergency certificate option), once you have the medical your sponsor can stamp your visa within a day. go and speak to your sponsor to make it fast. once you have residency permit, you can also apply for visit visa for your wife.if nothing happened, you better approach, airlines like Gulf air,Air Arabia, or Emirates. they also provide visit visa, if you buy ticket from them. or consult with any tour operators

Well, I would like to suggest you that don't try to get your wife alongwith you untill you can't get residence visa of Dubai (UAE). You'll be on temporary (visit/tourist) visa and your wife will also be on temporary (tourist) visa. It doesn't make sense, if you are coming here to get an employment. It makes sense, if you have enough money. Get tourist visa, book spacious hotel and explore Dubai (UAE). I'll suggest you to come along and make sure for your employment visa and sponsor your wife under your own sponsorship.
