Medical test for employment visa in dubai?

Is it allowed to take Medical Test from sharjah for Dubai visa?

hi, friend of mine got visa in Dubai,now he have to go for Medical test, is it allowed to take medical test from Sharjah ?if it is allowed, can anybody give the list of approved medical centerers in Sharjah?
Answer:

The medical exam has to be done in the same Emirate where the visa will be issued. There are only certain hospitals authorised to do so. Your friend should ask his PRO where the company's employees/workers have the test done.

if this medical test is for work visa issued from Dubai then they have specified approved places (approved meaning to do this type of test not meaning they just have a license), and not even all clinics in Dubai are allowed to do it. Otherwise if it is a general test for other reasons you can do it any where in UAE. Better check with Dubai Health Authority AKA DOHMS. (Sharjah hospitals / clinics are licensed by Sharjah Chamber (if private/business) and Ministry of Health , Dubai' clinics have to be also licensed by DOHMS). Perhaps H has better info than I do ... .
