Where can I buy cheap abayas in the uae?

  • Hello, I have just moved to the uae afew months ago (specifically abu dhabi) and I really want to buy some abayas but ive noticed that they are quite expensive in the malls (about 2000dhs or more!)...does anyone know where I can buy any nice cheap abayas in the uae? Thankyou.

    In Abu Dhabi you should go to Madiat Shopping Center and you'll find all kind of afforable Abayas. This is also the place where you buy material in case you want o have it made by a tailor. The shops there offer a good variety and they are very much less then the stores in the new malls. If you buy plain black material, the stores to get acesseries are ground floor (Hollywood) or just across from the street of the Shopping Center at the back side. There are also some small stores selling abayas. Take care.

Check out Al Dhiyafa, Al Satwa, and Karama for tailor-made abayas. That's most "no stereotype meant" Emirati ladies do. Each one can make her own personal design she prefers most. Just go there, you'll definitely stumble on many tailors. Have fun =) !

hi u can try the central souk in Sharjah u can find nice abayas starting from 150 DH or maybe less. u can also try nayef street in Daira ,Dubai but,it may take u more time to find a nice abaya there .. but you'll find . good luck ;)
