What are the requirements upon applying husband's visa in UAE?

Does tenancy contract required for applying Husband's visa in AJman uae?

  • 1.my husband is planning to provide me his visa.. does this require him a tenancy contract? and what are the other requirements? 2. After cancelling my employment visa in dubai, and change it to husband visa do i still get labour ban???

  • Answer:

If you want to leave your job, you will not be able to transfer sponsorship to your husband directly. Your company needs to cancel your present visa first and your husband has to apply for your entry permit. You also can change your visa status by paying AED 500 and another AED 500 if you do not want to leave the country and then re-enter again. The residency fees cost AED 300 for three years. If you receive a work ban (you will unless you obtain a NoC), you can still be sponsored by your husband as a housewife. You cannot take up employment till the end of the work ban. Docs required: Husband's passport copy Your passport copy 4 passport pics certified marriage certificate NoC of husband's employer Salary certificate/work contract Results of a new medical exam Tenancy contract: Only in Sharjah it's mandatory to provide a tenancy contract. In all other Emirates you have to expect the unexpected. Some Immigration officers ask for it, others don't (might depend on the salary of applicant?). But I think in Ajman you may have good chances to get a visa without a tenancy contract. All the best.
