Is DUBAI good for IT professionals?

What good schools are in Dubai? ( Going to grade 10 )?

  • Well I am going to grade 10. . . Since planing to change my school , I want a good , not expensive school, Board examination I went to many schools and did entrance exam they said my level is weak so I want a good school which makes me good in studies and which is serious... I really want to improve my ability since almost most schools in Dubai are pofit making which just give high marks without thinking that this student doesnt know anything , My average is 90% but when I went to a school and did entrance exam in 7 subjects I got 14\80 , 24\60 , 35\120 , 48\80 , 41\80 , 20\80 , 22\80 ......... my Level is low they said and I must repeat a year they said to improve... I dont want to repeat a year since I am planning to finish high school in Dubai and Iwant not mixed schools as well good not expensive... Its too late for you now to improve in this system, which ever the school. It is basically rote system without any enhancement of child's independent learning skills. Think about it: you change school from Board system to American.Study grade 10,11 and 12 there and then you can enter any University easily for graduation with good grades.Last 2-3 years of school are really important. They are the base of University. After 10 Grade in Board system you have to study 2 more years before entering any college/university anyways! Deira International School American International School They are both in Festival City AND expensive but then you get what you pay for! AIS has Special Needs department where they take care of slow learners, those who are not good in English ,etc...DIS must have one too but I'm not so sure. Your best bet would be to finish last school year in Canada and then entering in any Canadian university as a local student won't be any problem. If that could be a possibility!
