Moving to Dubai for my fianaces work! But I have no qualifications?

British work in Dubai - help please?

  • Hi I'm a 20 year old British woman. I'm moving to Dubai next month & I do not have many qualifications bar beauty therapy. I have worked two office jobs. What kind of work is available to me in Dubai and how much can I expect to be paid (monthly.)? I'm planning on going to an institute to get some qualifications to hopefully help me find a half decent job.

    It will be very, very difficult for you to land a job unless your Dad/husband has some connections. There are more than enough experienced Philippinas working in the beauty field and offices jobs. Some Philippina receptionists even studied and still are working for less than you may expect. As a british girl without a degree and experience you will land job only as mentioned above. "Best" chances of an office job you may have with a british company which requires a background check. Try anyway, exemptions may exist. Good luck.

Hi, In the best interest like the above comments, there are ppl here already working in much lower salaries for the same job profile. (office jobs) What possibly you could do before coming to dubai is, Try and apply for all possible openings online. So that Atleast before you reach here, you could have some interviews lined up. The salary companies offer varies in a couple of factors: - Experience - Nationality - Industry Any how, you should check for opening online and post your resumes accordingly. Hope this helps. you may try for a front office job for a European company , who may required bruitish national to project their image to their clients . other jobs have plenty of candidates and not much salary ..... best of luck
