Is emigration clearance required for travelling a non-metric person from India to UAE who got employment visa?

A person has already got an employment visa from UAE and require to travel from India to UAE. Is emigration clearance required for him ?

Answer:
The ECNR needs to be entered in the Passpot office. Most major airports who have a Deputy Commissioner or above posted in the airport can do it there, but are generally not available. Talk to your travel agent. If ECNR is not mentioned, the Immigration authorities in India can refuse to clear you but the airline has no issues. Welcome
