Where is the best place to find a job in Dubai or Abu Dhabi?

  • My family and I are looking to relocate to the UAE, either Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Although we would consider other up and coming areas. I am an Architectural Technologist with experience in Project Management within the accommodation side of the Oil and Gas Industry. 1) What is the best way to find employment within Dubai or Abu Dhabi? (suitable employer/agencies) 2) Where is the best locations within each area to live 3) What is the best property websites to find suitable accommodation. Many thanks

    Working in the oil/gas field, you should consider to relocate in Abu Dhabi where the oil is. Abu Dhabi holds around 90% of the Emirates oil. The best way to find employment in a higher position is to contact an oil recruiter directly. Best locations to live are plenty. I don't know what you consider being best. Will your wife have a car? Do you have school kids? There are a few big employment agencies operating in the region (mostergulf.com, Byat.com come to mind. A little know secret seems to be the small employment agencies operating here which seem to be quite effective in matching people with opportunities. I suggest you identify these agencies and make contact with them.
