Etihad, or Emirates airlines e-visa for Canadians visiting Dubai?

I just found out both Etihad, and Emirates airlines offer Canadian passengers e-visas, which are cheaper than if applying via the embassy, so if I book a flight to Dubai, i can also apply for an e-visa, which is emailed to me. E-visa costs around $70-80 on both airlines (30 days), and i will need about a week in Dubai (to apply for an Indian visa). But, what i don't know is if both airlines require a $250 deposit fee (to be returned upon exit), OR is it just Emirates airlines needing that? Anyone know?

like Fairies said , Etihad flies to Abu Dhabi , and Emirates flies to Dubai . There are Indian consulates in both but I guess the one in Dubai is bigger , or you can take a 90 minutes drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.
