Employment Visa for Dubai?

I was informed by my prospective employer that I will coming to Dubai by employment visa. My attested documents, which are prerequisite for applying employment visa was delayed and will only be available and send over to Dubai by end of July 2008. My questions is: 1. How long will be the processing time for my employment visa upon receipt of my attested documents? 2. I am tentatively scheduled to commence work from 1st August 2008, is it possible to go to Dubai by that date, whilst employment visa is under processing as mentioned above?
Answer:

1- It depend if its urgent or normal request, and the employee's nationality .. but it shouldn't take long time to issue the employment visa approx. 2-3 days. 2- Better to verify this with your company bcuz if you get inside UAE with visit visa there will be extra charges for getting employment visa while you are inside. And since the company informed that you will be coming by employment visa then do not take any action unless you confirm with your company. Good luck
