UAE person's violent behavior to the tb patients ? and the worst conclusions of their doctors?

  • I am here to give request to the UAE persons and to understand the things and sufferings of the new comers to UAE only due to medical test. I had a very bad experience from UAE. Last year i gone UAE with a job visa. Before going there i took medical tests from my home country for my belief to ensure my health condition. In this result there was no problem. But when i took medical test from UAE they didn't say nothing and one day they prepared a paper and told my sponser that i had tb and have to be deported. After came back from UAE i had gone to see a tb expert in my home country and say all the things to him.He tested all the things and after examining my new test results he told me i have no infection of tb. I was surprised because according to the govt.hospital report of UAE says i have tb .but i dont know the actual report because they didn't give any report to the infected person or the sponser. I was in a big trouble which one is the real report ? report from UAE or from the tb experts from my home country ? The tb expert has more than 20 years experience and he practiced in USA and Canada also. after this i go to another specialist his report also says no infection of tb. Who was the wrong the UAE persons or the tb specialists from my home country ???? What a visa applicant can do other than these ????? Who losts time, money and future ??? I appriciate the Medical ministry of UAE to their examination to control the infections but have to confirm he/she has the infections in real or not When i go to cancel the visa and gone for taking retina scan the people in these authorities rudely behaves to me ? They treated me as a culprit ? Is it good ? They don't know the basic knowledge that all the persons can't spread the tb infection and it only got from the regular contact with the infected person. And the thing is even in many conditions the diseases they got is not due to their own mistakes. The govt.employees work on the above mentioned sections have to think these things also.If any person on these depatment got tb they treated like this which as on the expatriates ???? Many persons coming to UAE and other countries by lending their properties also.If they had infection the UAE government can give a chance to the patients to cure according the ministry of UAE's scale of diagnosis from their home country and come back after curing instead of deportation. And It is a bad habit from UAE that writing something on the deported person's passport as a black mark which affects their future travel even the tuberculosis is a curable disease. I am expecting all of your opinion. Thanking You All

first..this wasnt a question...you just wanted our imput. but ok..so i work in a hospital..and there are different tests given to find out tb. if you took a tb shot test ..sometimes the forearm will be elevated or appear a rash. this is a sign the person may have been exposed to tb. but you have to be further evaluated by chest xray to rule out tb. maybe they just dont chances and sent you home (maybe that is there protocol). and im sure by the time you got home the shot area was clear...and your native country furthur tested you?

Mistakes can and will happen all the time where people work. May it be a mix up of a name or a wrong sticker on a wrong sample. Therefore always a double check should be made before taking action. Why didn't you request a 2nd test? What ever happened to you doesn't mean that new comers to the UAE have to suffer due to the medical tests. Undergoing a blood test and a x-ray can't be considered "suffering". Violent behaivior to TB Patients? - Were you beaten up? ....their doctors? - How many did you see? Btw: here it sounds different: http://www.thenational.ae/article/20090512/NATIONAL/705119844/1041/SPORT edit: giving everybody the benefit of the doubt, why didn't you undergo a 2nd test at any hospital right away on your own? You wasn't arrested, right? To be honest (without any offense please), who has a none required TB test done before entering the UAE? Did you show any symtoms? Did you have an Hepatitis and HIV test done also? And why didn't you bring your x-rays with you? I am far away of calling you a liar, but I think the whole situation could have been avoided by: bringing with you your actuall x-rays and taking a 2nd test while in the UAE. Sorry to hear that you received a bad treatment by staff during deportation, but you shouldn't complain. I know cases where certain nationals diagnosed HIV pos were handcuffed right away (at a hospital bed) and deported without even being able to grab their peronal belongings. Not knowing enough about your personal situation back then, I guess you should have stood up for your rights by i.e. involving your Embassy. Not knowing what the stamp in your passport says (maybe just not allowed to enter the UAE any more), report it being lost and get a new one.

1. In order not to suffer, you have to be well aware of the UAE laws regarding any medical conditions... your embassy website should provide you with all this but you have to make sure you get access to that information.Expatriates who travel to the GCC from countries where TB and HIV is wide spread for employment have to get a clearance from the preapproved medical fitness centre stating that they are free of any communicable diseases such as TB and HIV from their countries. 2. It is well known many people come with medical documents that are falsified. Your medical documents should be officially documented and stamped AND even if you bring that here, you will have to go through the medical test here to insure when you work you are fit to work. If you have had or even have TB you are still not allowed in the UAE, it is one of the diseases that stop entry into the UAE for obvious reasons. They are very tough regarding these rules and rightly so. Any communicable diseases such as TB and HIV are strictly out for health prevention reasons. It is highly contagious and can re occur. 3.I do agree however about the marking in anyone 's passport as it is a travel document. It should be dealt with in a discreet manner and with respect for the passport holder. 4. People should treat others with respect and kindness but you know there a lot of people with bad manners and even locals get treated rudely. In this case we have to be thankful we know better. 5. I think you meant to say 'aggressive' and 'rude' rather than 'violent'. I wish you good health and hope life holds better days for you ahead and you learn to forgive and forget your bad experiences.

It could have been a mix up , these things happen not just with medical tests but with Visas as well. Some asians coming to UAE for the 1st time are surprised when the visa is rejected because their name was on the ban list (person formerly deported from UAE had the same name/nationality or forged passport of such person). But these can be cleared with some paperwork and a new retina scan to confirm the real identity. Just 2 days ago there was a news article that a Dubai medical lab staff lost track of one urine sample of a person accused in a court case and then they found it thrown in the trash bin / tampered with. As H advised simply ask for a new test , and supplement copies of the tests you did at your country to the proper UAE dept where you did the testing. Also send copies to immigration / your sponsor. If the immigration officer at the scanner was acting inappropriately you could have simply asked to see his superior to report him or you can use the e-complaint form found on Dubai government websites.
