How can I get a job in Qatar?

I got a job in Qatar.I was told that i will get the workVisa and my residency visa only aftter 8 weeks?

I got a job in Qatar.I was told that i will get the workVisa and my residency visa only aftter 8 weeks? I want to know the procedure which takes place during that 8 weeks? Why 8 weeks? Do I have to attest my certificate copies in Ministry of foreign affairs and in Qatar embassy in my own country? I need help

I am not sure about Qatar but in whole middle east usually to get a residence visa it takes minimum 4 weeks up to 8 weeks depends on urgency and influence of the company in the immigration. If your visa is applied in skilled category they may ask your degree or diploma certificate to be attested in Ministry of foreign affairs and in Qatar embassy in your country. You have to be patient to get visa and dont leave your present job till you join in Qatar and passing all medical tests.
