What is Procedure to get the attestation on Degree Certificate for UAE Employment from Ministries of Educatio?

• I live in Karnataka. I got the job in UAE. and Company told me to take a attestation on the degree certificate from the consulate. But I do not know first of all what is to be done to get the attestation on Degree Certificate for UAE Employment from Ministries of Education and Human Resources (of India) ? Do I have to go personally to Delhi ? If I have to go, then what all documents should I carry with me ? Any affidavit should I do from my area ? Attestation means on duplicate xerox copies of the original , is it right. Please advice. Regards. Altaf
