How do I get over from moving away from Dubai?

• I was born and raised in Dubai,UAE untill Dec. 22. 10. Im from a british french german italian egyptian and syrian descent, but i hold an egyptian passport. FYI i am a christian thank god. I loved Dubai, so so much. I would never travel anywhere for summer except america, france and a few other places in europe. I was kind of forced to move here, because my dad owns a chain for business all over the world, he wanted to finish one in Beverly Hills. He would travel A LOT. But in december, it was my first time moving away from dubai for christmas.. I came to america and traveled with the stomach flu (eww). I actually had to go to watch my aunts graduation, but got stuck in Paris waiting for my flight (whoopee ;) But when we arrived, my dad decided to stay. Without warning or anything, he just said, we're going to live here. IN AMERICA. It was so hard for me ;( I didnt say goodbye to any of my friends, not even cousins, and they arrived when I LEFT. The same day. I love coming here for holiday, but to actually live here? I mean its pretty, but im not use to it.. Its just so differant. I just cant seem to accept living here. I mean the schools here r so trashy. Even the best private ones. I went to a british school in dubai. So its way differant ;0. And so are the people! Their nice, but extremely moody. I have never in my life seen hobos ;/.. I turned 13 in septemberr. Is there anyway to get over it? My mum said that it might be 3 years untill we get to go back.. I dont get why.. My mum and dad have lots of money, i dont know why it might be 3 years... Anyway what should I do? I literally have to crymyself to sleep every night to get over it. My brother doesent even care. It just hurts me. Its like stabbing me in the heart, or punching me in the stomach.. When I say I miss Dubai, my mum just tells me to stop... Like she doesent want me missing it. WTF! And plus, Kim Kardashian had a blast while in dubai, and got back today. And my friends met her at dubai mall.. Its not fair. I missed out on so much fun stuff. I left in the middle of the year! My mum and dad DONT GET THE PAIN IM GOING THROUGH. please help? :( sorry for my drama.

  Its your chance to see the world and see how others are living and to see how wonderful you have it. Most "hobos" were living similar to you last year, but lost everything in bad investments that seemed good, just values went down etc. Learn about life, yourself, what your deep interests are for your future and focus on that. Im orig american, and that's a GREAT place for a teenager to be able to learn skills through volunteering, part time work, academic camps...and yes that type of work is even for the wealthy teens, its about experience not money. Come on, see it as an adventure and wow, see whats great there. Hey, I love the gulf, its now my home for forever and I am so happy to say that, but America seems more organized and by far more friendly, there is no way Dubai is more friendly than California my goodness, you must be just giving off a bad vibe! Be nice. Relax! Have an amazing time there, its temporary as you say, so don't regret later that you threw these years away in tears and drama when there are people WISHING for that chance! It will work out.
