Moving to Dubai for my fianaces work! But I have no qualifications?

I am interested in moving to Dubai for work. Can u give sum advice on what it would be like for single female?

  • I'm interested in working in Dubai for a couple of years. I like to travel and I've been hearing that Dubai has great job opportunities and the pay is very good. I would like some advice, especially from people living and working there. What is the country like as a muslim state especially for women, is it very westernized? Do you think its a good idea to move there? Would really appreciate your response. Or maybe you can provide a website that would be able to answer some of my questions.

    i agree with the 1st answer .. it is very expensive in Dubai .. specially for rents. being a single female living alone in Dubai is a very common thing . you're gonna find many single females from many nationalities working and living alone all over the UAE . you just have to respect the religion (Islam) and some laws like not living with other sex without marriage and things like that. also it is recommended that you wear modest cloths although, many people specially in Dubai are not going by this advice ,this still annoys the locals and many Arab and Muslim people living there . good luck

Hi ,... i go to dubai preety often as i have family there but you should know tht the cost of living there is very high... the rent is a killler and the cost of fuel is quite high .... in addition, there is very very litttle saving potential out there, if that is a criteria then please think about wht salary your going to get.... as a gal its very important to make sure tht you have someone out there to bank on.... If i was you i would go to dubai for a visit before see how it is instead of going there and gettting shocked with the results and the consequences... :)

everything is great in the uae ... it's so civilized the only thing that you should be worried about is the high cost of everything and the traffic other than this, everything is so great
