How much would a school cost me in Dubai?

  • I am looking to relocate to Dubai with my family next year and I wanted to get an understanding of how things are going there regarding schools. My little girl is 3.5 now and should start getting to school so how much would it cost me ANNUALLY? My employer should pay for that so how much should I ask for that allowance? I am looking for a reputed British school. I want a school that has good history in Dubai but not very expensive. Thanks!

    if you're looking for "good", don't look for the new ones that have sprung up everywhere and look posh on the outside, look for old, well established reputable schools. the price ranges of schools in dubai vary greatly , so you'll be able to find one that fits your budget, don't worry.

We pay 40k per child. Each school is different, and you must find the one not too far from where you will live, and some have admittance screening as they get full easily. Anything "good" isn't too cheap. This has been the topic of many articles regarding expats sending their family's home as they can't afford the education system easily. I am just saying this to make you aware of the education climate here.
