Please, help me with information about the traditions and customs of the Arab wedding.?

  customs vary by area or province , but basically they share these basic things in all weddings: (1) engagement night = Khutobah or its called Shabkah if you live in Egypt (2) official marriage "contract" ceremony = Melkah (in gulf) or "Katb el Kitab" in other Arab countries. This can be done the same as the wedding too. (3) The final wedding night = Zawaj / Urs / Zefaf (aka Zaffah). Whichever name doesn't matter. It is the night where everyone gets invited to wedding dinner & party , but the party ceremony varies by local and religious customs. In some countries the men and women share the same hall or outdoor tent / yard etc. And in some other countries the men are separate from women.
