  • Answer:

AED 3.500 for an engineer is an awful low salary. The minimum wage for a degree holder is AED 12.000. Also when salaries paid in Gulf countries take one's nationality in consideration and Asians are at the lowest end of the same, you finished school, studied, etc. Why being satisfied with such a low salary? My friend pays her Indian driver AED 2.000 basic + benefits and neither did this guy ever study not does he speak one word english. I don't know about your current situation and it's none of my business but you should be aware that for 2 years your salary will remain the same and the end of service after 2 years will be calculated by the basic only + AED 4.900. 1) no! 2) around AED 600 - AED 1.000 3 )should be covered, doubt that every room has it's own meter 4) around AED 100 if staying in Sharjah only. Trips to Dubai and consuming alcohol will cost you much more. 5) different packages available, flat rate = AED 250 monthly 6) midical costs not covered by insurance (dentist, optical, etc), is transportation provided for private use also? ISavings for going on vacation, clothig, personal hygiene As an engineer and with your good english skills you should be able to land a much better offer. All the best.
