Visa requirements for Dubai?

Hi. I am a UK citizen who has a UK passport but I am currently living in Australia (I am on the long-stay 4 year 457 visa). I am travelling to Dubai from Australia and then back to Australia. Do I require any sort of Visa for this? I have never needed a visa when travelling from UK to Dubai - I just got a temporary stamped one when I arrived. Please help. Thanks.

On your British EU passport you will be granted a 30-days valid visa on arrival without charge; the same applies to U.K. passport holders with the right of abode.
