• Chinese, Pakistani, and Indian visas in Dubai? Easy to get? Ok, my question is where is it easiest to get a Chinese, Pakistani, and Indian visa (for a Canadian) in Dubai, or Central Asia? I am visiting Dubai in January, Iran (in the Spring), and then Central Asia (specifically Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan), in the summer. I am crossing the Chinese border, to Kashgar, then down to Pakistan on the Friendship Highway, and finally entering India at the Lahore/Amritsar border. Of course, I will need a Chinese, Pakistani, and Indian visa, but I want to get them at the easiest consulate, or embassy in the neighbourhood. Should I buy all these tourist visas in Dubai? Is it easy there, or should I get them as I need them on the road in Iran, or Central Asia? I've heard the latter can prove bothersome, as some embassies are harder to deal with outside the industrialized world. Getting a Chinese visa in Canada was really easy, no questions, and just 3 days, for $50, and I got 3 months. What can I expect in Dubai?

  All those 3 countries have Consulates in Dubai , and Embassies in Abu Dhabi. So you sould not have a problem. (except there may be some crowds in the Indian consulates due to the large number of Indians working here, but you can call them ahead of time and ask about arranging an appointment or something) You probably can get visas for the other ones on your list from here as well.
