How to find jobs in Dubai?

Crime jobs in Dubai, and how to find them?

  • I would like to find a crime related job within Dubai. e.g. Fraud, border protection, crime analyst/researcher. Does anybody know how easy it would be to get a job, and where to begin looking? My sister is a primary school teacher and was offered a job in Dubai within a week of applying, this includes free flights home and free beach-side apartment (which looks amazing). However her degree is in teaching and she has been teaching for 2 years. Whereas my degree is in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Are there any good websites, agencies i could use? A lot of the website i found on google, e.g. Bayt.com, charge for the services, such as checking over your CV, as well as charging to find employers, and charging to send out your CV. Are their any free sites? Also do you know if most companies would include accommodation with the jobs?

    I don't know what kind of job you are looking for. Border protection is out of question. Fraud? Frauds are cases of the police (UAE and GCC nationals). Sorry, I don't have any clue which company would hire a crime analyst/researcher. I would assume that people doing these jobs are Govt. emploees. Anyway, for all these jobs Arabic would be required. You may focus on a job as a criminology teacher or as a fraud/investigation/prevention/complianc… manager at any bank Most companies hiring expats provide housing or a housing allowance (especially for Western employees). It mostly depnds on your negotiation skills:) edit: no idea how hard is's to land an job in this field. Just keep on looking online for suitable jobs and keep applying, but please don't get your hopes up to high.

Well, if you are looking for Forensic types of Jobs, these are available but you need to be certified. As there are no Human Rights organizations in Dubai, Criminal Justice is not an opportunity. Yes, criminologists are much in demand in Europe and US but not in middle east. You could visit www.emiratesdiary.com. The site provides tips on how to look for jobs and apply for them. Most of the companies these days do not provide accommodation but give a housing allowance. The free sites offering CV services are listed on www.emiratesdiary.com.
