    And do you guys still believe that everyone was part of this? No one made a mention that most of the hurt Alex residents were living and selling on the streets along with the foreigners. They got caught up in this stupid attack and most even mentioned families having to prove they were South African, but because damn Mashatile and his other friends wouldnt know since he moved to calm and lovely Bucchleu, and took his step daughter and wife out of their lovely 6 room bond in 14th avenue Alex wouldnt know of course. I'm surprised the media hasnt made mention as well of a seperate incident of a group of men randomly attacking people and pilaging homes as well as stealing, just using the whole xenophobia saga as a cover up to continue their criminal activity. My parents both called last night worried because I have to walk through pan, were the attacks happened as well as blocks to get to my house. Why does the media pick random people to interview and not the actual people who did were part of this? Where were the police who are always standing around the shops and Chicken Licken when this broke out? What has been of the Alex Renewal project, (since Mashatiles last R4000 breakfast,) that was meant to clean up Alex by 2007? Nothing has changed except the new mall being slowly built, the rest of Alex is still shack infested. This would've been avoided had they been living up to their cheap talks of turning Alex back into the respectable place it was meant to be. Criminals of course jumped on the band wagon and turned this whole cause into something else.

The reason for this is simple; black people in South Africa, like all its residents, see these foreigners, correctly, as outsiders. Once again, this can be blamed on 'Saint' Mandela, who should have exercised good judgement when his illegitimate reign began, and done the sensible thing by sealing the borders and taking care of South Africans first, instead of allowing hordes of foreign criminals to set up shop in South Africa.

Question for Inno. What about the more than 30 murdered Somalis in Cape Town who have had their shops and property looted and burned to the ground. This is inter tribal warfare and Africa's history is littered with it. What you are witnessing in Alexandra is the forerunner to Xhosa vs Zulu and all of this hatred has been whipped up by Mbeki and the ANC,primarily against Whites, for the sake of a few votes. Now the chickens are coming home to roost and they are reaping the seeds they have sown.

I think its gang related, it has to be. There is no ways a group of people can all get the "hell in" and start murdering others without being encouraged and possibly even trained up to do it. Think about the Muslim terrorist attacks, it was all well planned and stratagised long before it actually happened ... I dont think its poverty, it feels like an ZanuPF (or similar) motivated attack. The Zim's are now saying they want to go back home - who do you think they are going to be forced to vote for when they get there???

I think this is mainly driven by frustration and poverty Price keeps on going up and yet the government only cares for the elite black people. Innocent - I am afraid that you only have the government to blame for this, they are the one's who promises everything then take their time to do it and on the side line take some money for themselves They just dont care for the poor any more, yet they still rely on their votes
