Has anyone out there has had LASEK recently?

Is anyone else disillusioned with the way things have gone in SA recently?

  • I must admit, every time I hear news from home these days it seems to be bad news, I am getting fed up of it. I would like to take my girlfriend to SA to visit (she is Italian) but she is quite frankly too scared and said she does not want to go. Recently I spoke to an Algerian guy who was planning to go to the World Cup, but he is too frightened to go. In an English bookshop yesterday I saw a new book discussing SA's status as most dangerous country in the world for violent crime.... kak man! I recently had a job opportunity in Johannesburg but my remaining family in SA said that I would be better off in the UK..... these are people who are SA through and through!!! We turning into a flop country ek se! Wat dink julle daarvan? Does anyone else feel that sick, sinking sense of a missed chance and/or disillusionment.

  • Answer:

Their is always gonna be some kak going on somewhere, it's a fact of life. We are pretty much an infant democracy at the moment. South Africa is astoundingly beautiful, when the vibes are good between people, black & white together in harmony, know what I mean. It depends on what you give out, all africans understand UBUNTU. South Africa is beautiful or its a kak place, depends on your pov.

SA became a flop ever since that quisling De Klerk sold this country down the river.

South Africa is fecked and it will never be the same again. The halcyon years of pre 1994 are past forever and if you hanker after those days you are deluded. Like every African Country South Africa will continue to go down the tubes until it is back into tribal wars. Every South African has been completely deceived by Mandela and his cabal of corrupt thieving bastards and now they are paying the price.

EMjay...I do..! All the time my dad is telling me that Zim, SA and the rest of the world is shot to hell and doomed for!! (which he is probably right) but I am just sick of hearing it! My uncle is a farmer in Zim and I was speaking with him the other day. When I asked him why he won't leave he simply said "because then I am a coward to my people and country" when I asked my cousins why they haven't left they always say "because then they will have won" So my point it that my family are staying there to fight their ground, they have organised a group where all those who have businesses, property and farms etc join and they stay together. If they leave they only give up on something that is so beautiful. Perhaps that's why I need to go back, because Africa is calling me. Some may say I am only stupid but I am a spiritual person and if I was in SA or Zim I'd be exactly the same. Stay put and defend what's rightfully mine!!
