August is also a good time. Because there have been no rains, so all the game come to the bigger dams and water hols, and you see much more.

anytime of the yea, but remember our summers are between october through to feb/march. it can be very hot in jan - feb. safety wise, dont be too worried, just keep your gaurd up as you would in any other country. most reports of crime are exagerated.

That will depend on what you want to experience - sea, wildlife, hunting, mountaineering or fishing to name a few options

I went there in september, the weather was fine. but I think a month later should be better, if you go to johanesburg, be very carefull, it's a very dangerous place, dont visit the city, I wouldn't back over there. I liked the safari, but that is all, to dangerous

This time of the year its extremly hot in the northern game parks (around the Kruger National Park). I remember quite a few sweltering christmas's up in the bush!

The best time for game viewing is June to October (June & July is Winter though) - I would go in September/October. October is great weather for our glorious beaches. The best time for touring is November to April - summer!

I think UK easter its not so hot out there that all the mosi's are out but it is still hot enough just to wear a t shirt. be careful on flights as prices can really vary at this time of year. try nationwide airlines. Madequa (not sure on spelling of it) is a great game lodge for this time of year, stay in a basic camp and exsperience it for real or Sarbi River Bungalows and have a luxury stay! hope this has helped get back to me for more info jess
