What is freedom and democracy?

What has the "democracy" of South Africa done for freedom and rights for the people in Burma?

• Here in Italy there have been mass demonstrations, concerts and numerous appeals on television for the freeing of political prisoners and the respect for human rights. What have the fellow "freedom fighters"in South Africa been doing? What has been organised in South Africa to speak up against the Military dictatorship in Burma? It would seem that the ANC would want to do something positive for the people of Burma, especially after siding with China and Russia's (the biggest Arms suppliers to the Military dictatorship) veto in the UN against urging democratic moves in the country. So, what has been done in South Africa?

  I think you can now surrender on this issue. The ANC Yahoo Consortium have turned a blind eye to the suffering inflicted on the people of Burma through the disgraceful voting record of their governmentul at the UN and would rather focus their attention on supporting the ANC leaders in their quest to loot the South African taxpayer of every last penny imaginable while firmly entrenching South Africa on the road to third world poverty and destruction. When one considers the closest allies of the ANC government are in general either dictatorships or communist regimes, it becomes easier to understand their support for the military dictatorship in Burma and the gross human rights violations that they have supported in Zimbabwe. Would you entrust voting powers that affect the lives of millions to a government whose allies include Fidel Castro and Cuba, Mugabe and ZanuPF, China, Iran, Gadaffi and Libya, the Palestinians as well as Russia and any other communist or Muslim state that supported their vile terrorist activities during their so called "armed struggle"? I would not.
