Hi there - gosh as you can imagine your choice of Safaris in South Africa is huge ! On top of that there are so many ways in which to do a Safari - I have recently done a few safaris in South Africa and i think one of the most amazing ways is to go by horseback - its an amazing experience although perhaps a little sore the next day! However you do get the chance for some great photos. Some relatives of mine recently stayed at Shamwari which is voted the top Game Reserve in South Africa - they were recently offering some cheaper deals so its not as expensive as normal. My relatives came back very happy as they saw Leopard and Cheetah which they have never seen before despite having gone on safari numerous times - they are South Africans by the way. Other ways to do safari are by Quad Bike or to drive yourself - Addo National Elephant Park allows you to do this. This park is the largest elephant park in South Africa but does have other animals as well. Hope this is helpful and that you have a great time whatever you do.

Sabi sands next to the kruger park - excellent game viewing and all you have to do is show up at the lodge and you go on two game drives a day and relax next to the pool in your spare time http://www.sabisand.co.za/ssw-properties.html have a look at the list of lodges - the more affordable ones are Dulini, Idube, Kirkmans and Nottens - but have a look at all of them if you can. Edit: ummm, Pandabear, if I had a choice of sitting on Camps Bay drinking cocktails watching all those fake people or go on a safari and appreciate the true beauty of nature, then I would rather go on safari. Each to his own. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it is boring.

Why would you want to go on a safari? It is boring as hell. Just go to Cape Town, tan on the beach, drink cocktails in Camps Bay, shop in the Waterfront, go on a wine tasting tour. Seriously safari's are like the most boring thing in the world.

Go to the victoria falls - Zambia side and try bungee jumping. I think the Okavango delta is also worth it. In a small boat with lots of crocodiles and hippos.

It depends on what you like .. but Cape Town, Drakrensberg and the Blyde River Canyon is spectacular, for more info just GoOgle SA
