Is it a pretty cheap place to live if your from the usa. is there buses to get around? how much is it to go to cape town university if you're from the usa can i get grants?

It will be very cheap for you and yes, we have public transport. You can also live close to the university so that you won't need to travel that much. Our current public transport system is not as good as e.g. London's as most people here prefer their own cars, but it is perfectly usable. I do see why you would want to further your education here, for the scenery, lovely people and change of pace! UCT has an absolutely beautiful campus.

Yes, there is public transport and they're busy with a new rapid transport system right now. You'll need to get in touch with the Uni about grants and fees. I live in SA, and am wondering why you're considering Africa for your further education.
