Is it common for white men to date black women in south africa?

What an idiotic question I'm white and I live in SA because my ancestors came here in the 17 century. That's a while back. Why don't I just move to Europe or America or wherever? Because I don't want to. I'm not European or American or Canadian etc. And you can't "just move" to another country. Those countries have immigration laws. To answer your question: It's not something I see every day, but it's not exactly uncommon. There are enough white women here.

There are white women living in South Africa too you know? And it has become a more common sight in recent years but there is still a lot of tension between the races which is a hindrance to many people. Often parents would not accept that kind of a relationship because of the way they grew up under the Apartheid regime. And why should people move from the country they were born in just because of their skin colour? Im white but I count myself just as much African as any black person - I was born and raised right here in sunny SA and that makes me a South African

No offence but I HATE it when there are questions posted like this one. Number one: There are White women living in SA too!!! Number two: Why would white men move to europe? What's wrong with whites living in South Africa? There are loads of white people in SA and it doesn't matter what colour their partner is!!! Why would they be living there???!!!!!! WHY NOT!!!!!!! That's the same than saying why do blacks not move away? It's really offensive when people who are ignorant, post questions like this one. South Africa has moved on from apartheid and the rest of the world needs to keep up. So YES white men date black women and YES white men date white women Nothing new here.......... Yes you would be surprised how many whites live here...and yes there are white men dating black woman, but its got nothing to do with the fact that they live here. They don't look at the outer beauty but the inner beauty and you do really get attractive black people. Oh and why would they live somewhere else if South Africa is such an awesome country!!

Not everyone agree with it .. but yes, it seems to be the 'in' thing to do lately, regardless of the consequences for particularly the children, it is mostly younger people, or older couples who don't have kids that would adopt a black child ...
