Is Cape Town South Africa a good place to do volunteer work?

  • I have recently been looking into doing some volunteer work next winter for a few months in Africa. I found a great program, International Volunteer HQ, that offers a lot of programs in different locations in Africa such as Cape Town in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Ghana. I have been very interested in the South African program and was wondering if this was the best choice? or is their a better place that I should volunteer next year? or if anyone has any information on cape town and what it is like. Thanks
