    When is soon? We're currently still experiencing summer, but April is the dawn of autumn and by end May we're in winter. For summer you can bring shorts and stuff like that with only 1 or 2 jackets/ jerseys for in case. By late April you'd have to bring warmer clothes. We don't see snow that often except the Drakensberg and surrounding areas and sometimes in Cape Town area. If you are visiting Cape Town...it's supposedly Mediterranean weather, but you can experience 4 seasons in one day (I hate that place), but further north/ east the weather is fine. Our average temp this summer is about 24C since we've had (are having) more rain than usual. What should you buy? That's up to you, but buy according to the weather.
