Well, anytime is a good time to travel to South Africa! June/July is winter so it generally is cold in SA but it depends what you classify as "cold". Coastal areas like Durban are also still pretty warm during the winter months. Hope you have fun travelling

I have to agree. Any time is the best time to come to South Africa! However, you will be coming in the middle of winter and our winters in Cape Town is cold, wet & windy. Coastal areas like Durban is sunny. If you come in this months, I will recommend to bring some warm clothing with.
