Does anyone know some African music?

Does anyone know of any African groups that have the same sound as music from the Lion King?

• I really like music from other cultures, and I really like the sound of the groups that sing in the lion king. Anyone have any recommendations?

  Hmm, the only one I know of is Lebo M. He had recorded an album called 'Rhythm of the Pride Lands' and some of his music had been featured in The Lion King, I believe, but only heard of in the background and usually as an instrumental which Hans Zimmer had used in pieces for the movie as well. Although in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, you can hear his song 'He Lives In You' playing. His music is beautiful! I suppose you can always check on YouTube for traditional African music -- you may find some good recommendations of groups on there. There aren't many popular ones people that aren't from Africa know of, but generally all African music has the same sounding music as in TLK so you'll be able to find some really good songs/groups to your liking, I'm sure!
