What is there to do in Cape May with a baby?

Will be travelling to Cape Town in December!?

  • I have been to SA before but only around Joburg. This time I will be travelling to Cape Town in December with my 5 year old son, my friend & her baby daughter for a week's vacation. I know that at that time of year it will be hot! We cant wait as we have never been there before, where will be the best places to visit especially with small children? Many thanks

    It will be quite hot, depending where you coming from, for some people 16 degrees is hot, but the average temp, in December ranges from around 15 to 27 degrees Another thing about Cape Town in summer time is the sun only sets at 9pm at night. Cape Town is also located near the sea so there will be a lot of coastal breezes flowing in to keep you cool. So from my experience, it will be warm during the day, and could get a little bit chilli at night ie a bit cooler at night, so do pack one or two long sleeve tops.

Hey, You would be glad you decided to visit Cape Town! There are beautiful beaches,breathtaking table mountain, adventure sports, an aquarium and flea markets for shopping! You can take your children to Two Oceans Aquarium which has galleries specifically for children..they can watch fishes and penguins being fed..its a nice place for kids! Ratanga junction which is an amusement park is another place you can take your kids to.. Beaches are beautiful..you can visit them with your children..make sand castles,go for horse ride..enjoy at the coast.. The temperature will be around 15 to 27 Celsius (60 to 80 degrees F).
