How can I get a short term visa for my British friend who is driving me to SA from Oman to visit Jubail Colleg?

I have a visa for SA but my British friend does not, can he get a short term visa at the border or does he need another visa, I only have two more weekends to do this. Elaine A.     it depends what nationality your friend is. for most people there are only two ways to get a visa to Saudi (other than Work Visa) 1. Omrah / Hajj Visa (Islamic Pilgrimages) however this type of visa will only be issued to Muslims and is not valid outside of Makkah and Madinah 2. With a formal invitation from a Saudi National that will Guaranteee you. it is a crappy situation but that is the facts.... PS for option 2 it usually takes months to get such a visa
