How can i obtain a work permit?

How can i obtain a work permit for South Africa other than the home affairs. Im British, in SA at the moment?

  • I have a 90 day visa can I leave after 90 days & then re-enter with a new visa

  • Answer:

Home Affairs is pretty slow and the Durban office has collapsed under the workload. Unfortunately it is the only legal way to go. You should be able to leave, get a new visa and return. To try and get a work permit, get a company to hire you and they will start the endless paperwork with the department. Otherwise try a marriage of convenience. Start chatting up single woman with the objective of marriage. You'll still have hassles but not as bad. Alternatively you might say that because you are oppresed by the labour government in the UK you might apply for refugee status. Did you blow the whistle on Hewitt or Prescott? Get in touch with lawyers for human rights to find out which refugee offices don't have queues of thousands. I think the PE one is the best. If you are prepared to go illegal bribery and forged passport seem to work. Good luck

Why are you avoiding the Home Affairs Dept.? It seems to be the most easily accessible option. If you click a link below, most of your questions will be resolved; http://www.southafrica.info/public_services/foreigners/work_seekers/workpermits.htm
