Is AIDS/HIV man made? Why is it so dominant in Africa?????

Your biology teacher should be fired. Lack of sex education and proper education on how AIDS/HIV leads to the high occurrence rates in various parts of the world. The way the disease infects the body is why a cure or immunization has taken so long. The very fact that you can cite Tuskeegee is evidence that it's not a conspiracy. If more than one person knows a secret, it won't remain a secret. This line of thinking is dangerous and allows for the disease to spread. If it's only a gay disease then heterosexuals will continue to see their numbers rise. If it's only an African disease, then the rest of the world will turn a blind eye. Educate yourself.

It isn't man made! A majority of Africans lack the education. If you research properly, the mostly affected are from rural areas, they dont have much of an education or immediate access to clinics/hospitals. So not many dont know about the risks of promisciuty and not using condoms. Government condoms are distributed at clinics and shops for free! They are though running campaigns, mostly aimed at the youngsters, to stop the spread of this virus. So LSM's below 4 are mostly in danger of getting this disease. So rural areas are targeted the most with this campaign. No one was trying to do away with the Africans. If they could all be reached (Radio being a geat mass media instrument), and of course more road shows... who knows how much more it could decrease by? I mean a lot of black men still believe in polygamy and still dont respect women. He will have a wife in the rural are back home and a girlfriend in the city. That is another problem because these poor women have no idea what their husbands get up to. Either than that, I think purposely injecting someone with something incurable and that could lead to their death is as sick as Hitlers holocaust. thanks.

So what you are saying is they tried to kill off Africans with AIDS? I don't think so, AIDS spread through Africa because it's a 3rd world country and the women including girls sell themselves to support families and alot get raped therefore spreading the diease quickly!

aids came from monkeys, people in africa ate them in the past... and between eating them uncooked or cutting themselves while handling raw meat... thats how... and if it was man made not so many people would be dieing of it... and another reason why it is in africa is because they have poor birth controll over there

i believe it started in Africa from beastiality and its just promeninent over there cuz theyre rather poor and dont have the technology we have to help prevent and protect ourselves and even diagnose it.

I don't believe the man made thing, but most of the reason africa is so full of aids, is because they don't have the proper birth control or knowledge of it, so it spreads fast, also they have so many kids

The women in Africa aren't allowed to refuse sex so it spreads like no other.

a lot of people in africa have it because they are not as fortunate as us to have the proper education to protect themselves, plus contraceptives and such are not as readily available as they are here, and there are myths there that if you are positive with HIV and you have sex with a virgin, then it will go away, which is just horrible but saying that it is man-made is just so ridiculous, if your teacher is saying that he is just a bitter ignorant man..
