I can't log in to yahoo messenger.

Why I can't log in to yahoo messenger?

  • I have uninstalled the yahoo messenger, toolbars and software update thru standard add/remove programs and thru revo uninstaller. Do the Registry Optimizer to clean all registries in my laptop and install the latest yahoo messenger from yahoo website and also to filehippo website but still the same message appears that "we can't sign you in yahoo! messenger. There might be a problem with your internet connection blah blah blah. Strange isn't it, I got ADSL and have good connection of internet. Also, using webmessenger.yahoo.com is working fine but i need yahoo messenger app in my laptop and not webmessenger. What do you think is the problem? Please help me resolve this if there is. Thanks

    Sometimes is happen, that you can't log in messenger account but, type simple question like : I can't sign into yahoo messenger, in your browser and see if others having problems, can be problem with yahoo server. check in tools for your internet options to make sure everything you want allowed is allowed.. Im not internet/computer saavy, but I can remember when my husband downloaded the latest browser it messed up everything. we had to go tick off a few more buttons.. also just to let you know.. yahoo messenger is having severe problems this week.. there is someone/group that is getting in and coding this malicious room/sweep booter. they sit there, wait till the rooms fill up then mass boot everyone.. it locks up the whole messenger program, you have to sign out, and sign back in.. I wrote to yahoo a few days back and all they said is they are working on it.. so maybe you cant login cause they are down now.. sorry
