What hotel do you recommend for Umrah in Mecca (Makkah)?

  • What hotel do you recommend for Umrah in Mecca (Makkah)? I am planning to go for Umrah in this Ramdan Eid Sep with my friends, so I would appreciate your experience and recommendation. Additional recommendation for tour companies in Mecca for 1/2 day local tours would also be of help, with details of what worked for you and what did not. Or would you rather recommend that I take a Taxi. I would like to go and visit Arafat and Mina during my stay too. & What about Mercure Grand Umm Al Qura, Mecca I found cheapest rate need your advice pls is there any more hotel cheapest & near to Makkah hotel I can book online Jazak Allah khair

    i really don't know .. i only have been to Makkah once and what we did is we stayed in a hotel in Jeddah and in the morning we went to Makkah then went back to Jeddah after the Umrrah. sorry i wish i could help =(
