How can i change profession in my IQAMA?

Profession Change in Iqama in Saudi Arabia?

• As per new Saudi law every one can get changed his profession whether the company he is working in is in yellow, red or green. http://arabnews.com/saudiarabia/article560984.ece I am working in a company whose status is yellow. Someone can tell me if the news are true for yellow companies as my HR manager is saying that as long as we are yellow we can't change profession. Please help if you know the procedure.

  Yes, this is possible. My company status in RED now. I just changed my profession to General Accountant from Labour, on yesterday. The whole procedure is like this. But remember your sponsor can only do this "ONLINE" through the web site "mol.gov.sa". (1) Go to the website (2) login - sponsor id & password :) (3) change to the desiered profession (but keep in mind of the professions that need to present the certificates before the authorities etc..) (4) Take all the necessary printouts. and (5) submit the application. (may be take the printouts after submission also) If this application is accepted, most probably your case is done. Next day check the status for the same (again id & Password:) sponsor can do this) IF YOUR APPALICATION SAYS ACCEPTED (GREEN COLOR!!!) khalas.... done. Then sponsor has to take your Iqama & passport to the Jawasat and get it changed with new profession (not renewl, only profession printed on that will change, rest all same like expiry date etc..) It took 3 days for me to do all the above done... Hope this details help.....
