Morocco Visa, how long do I have to wait till its ready?

I have applied for a Morocco visit visa and I was told by embassy that they don't know when it will be ready, is there anyone who had got Morocco visa and how long did it take?
Answer:

they don't know because it all depends on what they find. they do backgrounds checks, it also matters what country your coming from, the purpose of you going to morocco, ect.. there is no real pattern, it is different for each person. Same with extending the visa.. it is different depending on your personalized information .

They have a backlog of permanent visas that they are working on this year. When they say that they don't know, be patient, you better be extremely patient. Were you planning to stay longer than 3 months or a year or two?
