Is there a store that sells high quality art supplies in Beirut?

Absolutely :-) There's one in Verdun....if you're driving past the Concorde, going towards the Dunes Mall...there is this bookstore with magazine stands outside of it (next to that a carpet store/ a couple of street corners before you reach Goodys) if you go in, they have 2floors of everything you could ever need and more! Things you don't typically find in Lebanon.... And they're usually pretty helpful.. Also in Ashrafeye, right across from AUST (American University of Science and Technology)...its not as great as the other, but pretty well equipped.... And in Hamra, next to the Kababji, there's also a book store you should check out...they might not have everything you need, but they have really good prices/deals in comparison to the others...

in sin el fil it is called : bookstore.. the mane branch is located in kaslik .. but a second branch has recently opened in sin el fil .. off course there is also " maliks" in hamra near AUB.. anyway u could call them and check details about the address.. in case u do not have there number just call : ogero at 1515 and they would provide it 2 u .. good luck

i would check around the web. even if they did have a store you could get it way cheaper online. I have a pretty decent art supplier in my town and they charge high on everything because they can because they have no compitition.
