It is very safe, you dont need to worry at all.... The media always over exaggerates when it comes to Lebanon. I cant remeber how many times ive heard the media go on and on about tensions are high at the moment and it looks like war might happen soon.... ignore it please! It is a very beautiful country that you shouldnt miss. Tips for when you come to Lubnan. Say service for cheaper fares.... if you say taxi your going to pay more because i doesnt stop for anyone else. Be prepared that Lebanon is a very expensive country to live in and for vacation. so the hotel and appartment prices are high especally for a family. Dress sensibly as it does have a lot of rain in the winter, right now it is rather hot... You have to try lebanese food when you come! Enjoy your trip!
