What jobs that are now hiring deaf people in Lebanon Maine?

  • I am sixteen years old. I am deaf. I just want to have the job that I can save some money for college funds and more money I need to save for the future. I am a sophomore and I am going to school in Washington DC (Model Secondary School for the Deaf). I just want to have jobs, but which are they willing to hire deaf people? Help me, please!

Are you moving to Maine? You said you are in school in DC. Not sure your connection w/ Lebanon. Lebanon is a rather small town, not sure how many jobs are available with this economy, let alone considering you're deaf. You will probably have more opporitunity in nearby Portland. Also, not sure if you know, but there is a well known school for deaf people just north of Portland: Baxter School for the deaf. Wonderful school right on the water, very pristine. I mention this as they may have a social worker working at the school helping the students find employment/housing etc.. Good luck. I used to live in Maine and it is a great place to live.
