Do I need a visa to go to Syria?

Do you need a visa to go to Lebanon if you have a British passport?

    Yes you do need a visa. but you can get that on arrival at the airport in beirut.. a tourist visa they will issue u a 2 month one but if you know how to speak to them you can get a 3 month one... the 1st month is free then you have to go to general security in lebanon and renew it. Usually they will ask you to pay but it shouldnt be that much. You can take a coach or taxi to syria ... it usually takes arund 2 hours and a half. Be aware theres usualy long queues when your at the border to go into syria and there dealing with your passport etc and deciding whether they will let you in, so its best to go early... i waited like 1 hour and half in the queue to go to syria one time, next time round i just pushed infront of everyone and got served quick and fast and viola on your way to syria. Have a great trip, dont let any taxis rip you off!

Yes , you need visas to go to both Lebanon & Syria....if you go to Syria from Lebanon & then intend departing from Lebanon , you'll need a double entry visa for Lebanon ... Takes about 3 hours by road from Beirut To Damascus...

U will get your visa stamped at the airport, i went there and its for three months for visit purposes. Rememeber one thing the staff at the lebanon airport are kinda slow.

Yes. Need visas to get to both countries but it's fairly easy to get. Check with ur local embassy before u travel would be the ideal choice

yes u'll need them but u'll have them done in the airport and on the border from lebanon to syria
