it's been on since 1975, but the Hariri assassination sparked it up again in 2005. There's a new prime minister, and some people are pissed and stuff..don't worry about anything, it's completely normal ('3adi' if you speak arabic) If you wanna know everything, don't ask anyone and don't listen to media unless it's perfectly neutral, because they'll only show you lies, like Future TV showed completely nothing of the uncivilized behavior their party was responsible for (just an example) PS: It'll never be over as long as the Lebanese will still rely on religion and sects to rule the country. The only way this country will be in peace is either Atheism (separating religion from politics) or someone like Hitler comes and burns us all :D

It's not news my dear, it's actually old school! Lebanese history repeats itself, they always had inner conflicts caused by sectarianism. the only thing all lebanese have in common is an enemy called Israel. Any way its just time till things come better, remember how many months lebanese stayed without a president when Lahud left?

Prime Minister or Ex PM Saad Hariri kept his seat vacant for more than 4 months (he left Lebanon). He did not want to come back to Lebanon because Parliament wanted to come to an agreement about the STL. When he would not come back, it was set up that Saudi and Syria would make the agreement for Lebanon on the STL. But Saudi and Syria could not come to an agreement because Saudi Arabia backed out (the U.S. got involved). So Hariri decided to go to the United States instead of coming back to his home country to discuss the STL. At that very moment 11 (10 of whom are Christian) members of Parliament resigned. This automatically constituted the need for a new government. Is this crap over? Well this crap can be over if Hariri simply stops wasting Lebanese money on a tainted false investigation. There is not a new president lol, same president new Prime Minister. March 14- Future movement & Lebanese forces are against this new PM and want Hariri back in power. But I doubt he will ever get the job back considering he spoke to one of the false witnesses from the STL (Special Tribunal for Lebanon (Rafik Hariri murder)). Furthermore it was revealed months ago that the head of Lebanon's telecommunications network was an Israeli spy. The STL which is very much supported by the U.S. used phone records from the telecommunications network as "proof" that Hezballah had something to do with Hariri's assassination. It was later proven with solid evidence that this proof was tainted by Israeli infiltration. Although the whole world knows the STL is tainted and unreliable they want to continue with the indictments in attempts to discredit Hezballah and make them an illegitimate part of the Lebanese government system. Won't happen lol Oh and it has been revealed by Wikileaks that in 2007 the U.S. and Lebanese knew Syria had nothing to do with the assassination of Rafik Hariri but the investigation still falsely kept the four implicated men imprisoned. http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/lebanon-arrests-fourth-telecommunications-official-in-alleged-israel-spy-ring-1.305503 "The other three were employees of the Alfa mobile telecommunications network. One of those suspects, Ras al-Jud, reportedly managed to flee from Lebanon to Israel last month by crossing the border near Bint Jbeil " LOL
