Where Is Supra Shoes In Amman?

Okay... What would you do if you were in my shoes...?

  • Here's the thing: my trip is as follows: Qatar => Amman Jordan => Bath UK => Amman Jordan => Beirut Lebanon => Amman Jordan => Qatar and it will be for THREE WEEKS in 3 different countries with different weathers and different activities to do (different shoes, hair products, dresses, jackets, bikkinis, everything!!) and the limit is 20 kilos only on the plane, and you have to pay when you exceed it... My only problem is when I leave from Doha to Amman, cause Amman is my Base, I can leave all the other stuff in it... ANYWAY, so i have this friend, (who is rough around the edges: she scratches my car door last week and told me: it's okay Tia O.o) so yesterday she's like: I want you to carry 4 kilos of crap to Jordan with you to give it to my relative (she's not jordanian btw nor Palestinian) and I'm like: 4 kilos O.o I already have weight =S anyway she emotionally blackmailed me into saying yes... and now I resent everything that lives on Planet Earth... WHY WHYYYY DOES this happen to meeeee... I never ask ppl to deliver stuff.. hell they don't even tell me when they have someone going to Jordan or to hell for that matter... What would you do if you were me?? ahh I feel better after venting... thanks guys mwah

    Well...you were kind enough to do that, so how about starting to feel good about yourself! If I was that friend of yours, I'd be very very grateful! You could just, don't take too much stuff with you, deliver your friend's package and when you're in Amman, borrow or buy all the stuff you'd need for the rest of the trip and make sure you don't need to carry anyone else's stuff =D Have an awesome trip!!! oh and, don't regret accepting her request ... you've agreed to do something nice! Lol I just had a thought, may I apologize for your friend's sake ... that she scratched your car and thank you for helping her deliver her stuff =P If she didn't do that already

Easy...do what I do...whenever I'm going somewhere and pple give me stuff to carry for their relatives (usually it's crap like fassoulia and sweets and zaatar) I throw them on my way to the airport (first dumpster I see) and then when they ask me if I "delivered" I tell them "ohhh the guy at the airport said no food allowed on the plane" or "when they searched my bag and found those they took them away cuz I had overweight and had to get rid of some things"

Okay , for a start , stop panicking ! You may have only 20 kgs in your luggage BUT you have another 8kgs in your carry on luggage ! Also , unless I am very much mistaken it's still HOT in all the countries you are visiting so it's not as if you need to cater for 3 different seasons ! Okay ! So , stop being a drama queen & start thinking practically ...take mix & match clothes , minimum of EVERYTHING ...we always tend to take at least 3 times what we need anyway ! I can't believe a guy is talking like this ....lol....especially ME !

If I was in your shoes, I would only follow through with it if she was to pay for the kilos she wants me to carry on. Also I would try to be firm with her. If she was to scratch up my car I would make sure she knew it was not okay.

tell her your sorry but u have changed your mind. that u will be busy taking care of ur own things that u dnt want to be responsible for her belongings. standup for urself be strong and say no. get use to it u cnt please everyone

this happens to me ALL the time ... what i do is call the person up a few hours before my flight and tell them ... look i just weighed my bag and i already have 5 kilos overweight .. so im sorry ...

Be stronger and say no when you dont truely wanna do something. IF you dont wanna do it, but she is a good friend who would help you out too, then do it. Just realize that you dont have to do anything you dont wanna do in this little world. Dont let anyone guilt trip you into doing anything and dont feel too shy. you dont have to flat out say no (that would just make her mad) say something like you cant take that many suitcases or cant carry it all by yourself. that way shes not mad and you turned her down. something like that. ppl will try to use you whenever they can, its up to you to stop it. Ill tell her to stop being cheap and send them by mail herself for ya if ya want lol.
