Answer:
Dear Angie It wasn't Hezbollah who resigned from the government it was the whole opposition (2 from Hezbollah only and 8 from other parties) plus an independent minister the American and Western propaganda love to lynch Hezbollah every time they get a chance ... = As for the repercussions on the average Lebanese citizen .. nothing .. it won't get any worse ... Electricity powercuts might increase from 12hrs to 18hrs a day ? so what ? Fuel price ? it's already at 37000 ... if it hits 50000 , no big deal ... We won't dig for oil ? too late , Israel has already started and is draining our resources ... you know why ? because Mr. Hariri wanted to appoint one of HIS guys to run the new agency for oil resources or whatever they were going to call it ... and he withheld the whole project in his drawers since summer .... (and by the way these resources are all controlled by the Treasury Minister who is a Haririst) I can go on forever !!! Note that the current ministers will resume work , only the government won't be meeting anymore and won't take any more decisions .... well , nothing new here either ... because the government didn't take ONE decision in more than 5 months, thanks to Mr. Hariri spending more than half of his time outside Lebanon, and when he does call the cabinet to a meeting, they do nothing because he blocks all the decisions .................. the last cabinet meeting was in November !! == so in general ... I'm really glad the opposition pulled out .. Hariri's time is over ...

I'm not lebanese, but I find the lebanese more interesting than any other country in the world. and I dont know what will happen, but the support offered to alhariri from other countries implies that america and EU dont want this government to fail regardless of hizballah's presence in it

I would just like to comment here that I am horrified at the statements made by some outsiders in an attempt to further the divide between people. In such times polarizing statements could be done without and diplomacy (at least from outsiders) should be in ample supply. "No country should be forced to choose between justice and stability," Hillary Clinton said while traveling in Doha, Qatar. "The Lebanese people deserve both." (AP article posted on Yahoo News) Clinton has obviously chosen a most unfortunate moment to forget more than half of American history to make such a statement. Governments exist to maintain justice and stability but rarely do, because otherwise a lot of people would be out of a job in government buildings. I wish that in a possibly unforeseeable way, these events will bring more stability to the average Lebanese citizen in the future.
Back In Black
I think the only way it might affect the average Lebanese citizen is if other average Lebanese citizens choose to go riot somewhere and burn rubber tires... In that case, from experience, I can say that the average non-participating Lebanese citizen will suffer from at least the following: - Breathing problems - Missing flights - Children studying/working abroad who came for Christmas won't come for Paques (la2ennou l-7aleh mush mni7a) - Getting late to work and getting yelled at by boss, or missing work and having to make up for the delay by working more later - Missing school days and having to cram more material into the next few weeks making the rest of the semester difficult

Maybe it was time for a new creation of a better government, and hopefully the new one will be a lot better.
Passion *7 weeks left for Lebanon and Egypt*
justice and freedom is what is important, lots of sacrifices has been made, it is not time to give up now.
