How much does it cost to get into the Blue Grotto in Capri?

Jeita Grotto (Lebanon)?

  • I'm planning to go to Beirut next March, just for a day, I have a couple of questions plz: - Which is better to visit Jeita Grotto or the telefreek? And how much everyone of them costs? - Can I get a bed & breakfast in a hostel or a very cheap hotel, just for the sake of sleeping? How much it's gonna cost? - As a Jordanian, do I need a visa, or shall I pay anything when I get to Lebanon? Thanks alot,

  • Answer:

For Jordanian you don't need visa, you can get it from the airport or the Lebanese/Syrian border. I prefer telefreek and it cost 15$. Yes, you can find a studio in Beirut to stay in and I think they charge 20$ per night but I suggest you go for a hotel which is better. Enjoy!

Well, each one has its own magic, Jeita is a fabulous place if you like history and water Telefreek is nice , if you wanna see the statue and pray and half of beirut from the top, for me the two are unbelively outstanding As for hotels you can find a lot in a low range like 50 USD per night but B&B i dont know. Regarding the visa i dont know as well, you can ask the lebanese embassy in jordan and they will help u. Welcome to LIBAN

first of all no visas required for jordanians the teleferique is not very interesting to have if you pass for a day but the geita grotto is superb i think it costs about 20 $ or a bit less than that but its worth to visit for accomodation i do not have very good knowledge but i know that in the region of jounieh you can find a hotel to sleep in for about 35$ a night for bed do not have breakfast there its cheaper to you to have it outside the hotel

it's hard to pick, because they are both different but beautiful. you can easily do both in one day.

I took a ticket for both last year and it cost U$ 12 to me. Both are beautiful. About the B&B or Visa.......the above replies are better than the one i could give you.. Good luck

There is actually an entrance that combines both telefreek and Jeitta, I went there in 2003, it was amazing. There are definitely two entrances if u go to Jeitta then there is a telefreek ride from there for sure, its was like 20,000 ll - as for hotels, try the mayflower hotel in Hamra or Embassy, they are pretty cheap, around $35-45 per night make sure u haggle or they will rip u off! 1. Jeita and teleferique are both close so you can see them both in the same day. Jeita is exceptional and beautiful they will take you inside a teleferic to climb a hill, then you will see a video of Jeita then you visit the upper Grotto then you go by small train thing to visit the lower grotto by boat...it costs 18000 L.L. that's like 15 US dollars...the teleferic cost 10 USD and it's a 20 minutes ride to the top of mount Harissa where there is a church and statue of Notre Dame du Liban. 2. You can find cheap hotels in Jounieh and Maameltein, please check this site out : http://www.hotels-lebanon-booking.com/jounieh_hotels.htm 3. as for the visa I think you can get it at the airport, but to be safe call the Lebanese embassy in Jordan or where ever you are.
