i want to be a teacher in nairobi kenya, and help out the unfortunate children. I want to help the worst, and make a huge difference for the families in africa. i feel as nairobi is too much of a well economized city, and id feel like i need a more poverty town. is there any suggestions? id like to be in either kenya or namibia.

Answer:
Well, Nairobi itself if pretty developed but it is full of poorer areas just around it. Consider Kibera which is arguably the largest slum south of the sahara and is still in the heart of Nairobi. You can also try the towns around like Thika, Machakos, Limuru, Narok and Ngong. You can also hook up to local organisations to guide you like YADSTI which is science based university students organisation. [email protected]
